eBodhi's mission is to provide tailored and age-appropriate enrichment experiences to individuals of all abilities, including those who are neurodivergent. We are committed to fostering an environment that accommodates diverse communication styles and sensory profiles.
The Bodhi tree, also known as the sacred fig is the tree under which Siddhartha Gautama, who became the Buddha, attained enlightenment. The tree symbolizes wisdom, enlightenment, and awakening. At eBodhi, we aim to guide our students on a journey of self-discovery, empowering them to cultivate their unique branches of interest.
Presuming competence is the belief that all individuals, regardless of their challenges or disabilities, have the potential to learn, grow, and communicate in meaningful ways. This approach emphasizes recognizing and respecting a person's abilities rather than focusing on their limitations. Believing that every individual has unique strengths, we seek creative ways to unlock their potential and help them recognize and embrace their interests.
Our team comprises dedicated educators and specialists, passionate about inclusivity, skilled in neurodiversity, committed to empowering individuals through tailored enrichment experiences.
Founder - Kavitha Raghunathan
Mrs. Kavitha Raghunathan is an engineer, educator, and, most importantly, a parent of a neurodivergent child. She founded eBodhi after facing challenges in finding the right learning environment for her twice-exceptional child, who didn’t fit into the traditional, one-size-fits-all educational model. Her personal journey led her to discover effective communication tools and educational methods that nurtured her child’s unique needs, sparking her passion for helping others in similar situations. eBodhi was born from her desire to support families facing these challenges, with a core belief that “No individual should be denied their passion for learning because of labels.”
